Bulk alter phone numbers

Many phone numbers in my contact list have just 10 digits, so cannot be dialed directly by touching the number. Is there a way to bulk-change all phone numbers to have a 1 in front of them so that they can be dialed directly from the contact list?

Downloading email attachments without WIFI

Is there a way of getting an email attachment (.doc for example) transferred from my iPhone to my Mac without using WIFI? I currently have FliqDocs and QuickOffice installed on my iPhone. Both use WIFI to transfer files. Since tethering is not an option, I'd like a way to use my iPhone to pick up email attachments that I can transfer to my Mac for work.

So the process I am looking for is:
1) receive email with attachment
2) move attachment to an area where it can be transferred
3) transfer attachment from iPhone to Mac via USB cable

Any suggestions?

Photo Names on Iphone or iPod touch

Is there a way for me to see the image name I have given my photos on my iPhone or iPod touch? I'm importing them from iPhoto.

So for example if I name the photo Rambla_De_Mar_footbridge.jpg is there a way that I can see that title overlaying my photo while viewing it?

It's very useful for me for work to carry a library of images of places I need to photograph. This is especially useful in places where I do not speak the language and I can show a photo and read the name of the place to someone who may be able to point me to where I want to go.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

two problems

Just upgraded to 3GS. I've searched ten pages of this forum but can't find answers to these problems.

1.) After transferring, my contacts have doubled. I have a From My Mac and a From Mobile Me group both with the same contacts. How can I get rid of one, preferably the From My Mac (I sync via Mobile Me) and keep it from coming back? In Contacts/Groups, there does not seem to be a way to erase a whole group or even add a new one like I had previously.

2.) I wish to donate or sell my 3G 16 GB. An online site recommended pulling the SIM card before doing so. How do I do that and is it necessary? I figured out how to use Settings to erase the phone.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Quality and fashionable iphone cases?

Hi,

I have gone through two iPhone cases already (inCase and Paul Frank), both of which either ripped or got dirty and ruined within 3 months.

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations? I tend to carry large bags, and tend to toss it around. So, I need a durable one, but I also want to remain fashionable and professional.

cheers.

iPhone Hanging Up Calls Issue

When I am finished with a call and I touch the end call button on the screen my iPhone 3G will go back to the main screen with the green banner at the top that says "touch to return to call". This keeps the call active (which I have found out by accidently leaving messages on others phones) and eats up my cell plan minutes!

Does anyone have a solution to this issue? I have reset my phone numerous times but this does not seem to correct the issue and I don't want to have to reset the phone each time I use it.

How to adjust Start/Stop position of a song on the iPhone (not iTunes)

Hello all,

Before I caught my flight today, I decided to make a ringtone of my new favourite song. Obviously one of the steps in doing so involves selecting a specific start and stop position within iTunes be fore creating the ringtone.

So I got on the plane and realised that I didn't remove the start/stop positions on the song after creating the ringtone. Now i'm stuck with only a 40s interval being able to be played!

Please tell me there is a way to change the start/stop position of the song within the actual iPhone as I won't have access to my iTunes library for quite some time!

Any help appreciated.

Regards
