I appreciate any help i get as im not 100% familier with connecting my computer to the internet.
I have recently bought a new iMac 24" with all the extras in memory etc etc etc. I want to connect it to an existing network i have at home where 2 laptop PC's run on a SpeadStream modem where one of these laptops runs perfectly fine wirelessly. When trying to set my iMac up in 'Network Diagnostics', it recognises the wireless network and i follow the instuctions where in the end it sais "Network Diagnostics cannot fix the current networking problems"
I would appreciate any help as i am finding it very frustrating. Do i need to purchase an airport base? Or does my computer have that already? Do i need anything else? Am i doing something wrong? Please help.
