Apple has now revealed they are going to charge $199 for the low end iPhone, but they still have the Touch listed at $299. Doesn't that seen ridiculous?
My daughter was going to by a laptop and get a free Touch, but it seems like you are getting the short end of the deal, because they just have lower the Touch price or at least boost it memory.

They haven't done anything with the iTouch at this point , and nothing was said if the iTouch going to lower its price .. My thought is that the iTouch needs to lower the price . Be more comparable to the iPhones price tags ...
8GB iPhone 3G - 199.99 means the 8GB iTouch - 169.99 or 179.99 in price ...
16GB iPhone 3G - 299.99 means the 16GB iTouch - 269.99 or 279.99 in price ...
32GB iTouch should be lowered as well and offered the iPhone Firmware update for FREE ... But price should be at 369.99 or 379.99 in price ..
This would make the sales of the iTouch go up as well as the iPhones would still get there sales ..
Myself i own a 16GB iTouch and I'm willing to PAY for the Firmware update , but i think if they keep the PRICE of the iTouch your going to see sales go down ... As well as let me say that I'm going to buy a 16GB iPhone 3G as soon as i can ...
