Also, if you hold Option and click the arrow next to the podcast name, it will force read the entire episode list for that podcast.

Here's a different issue. I have some podcasts where the episodes just don't seem to make it to iTunes, despite being released and available on teh Podcaster's website. If you look up the episodes on the iTunes store, the latest ones aren't shown. Is there a way to fix this?

@TGRuss: I would check to make sure you have the correct RSS feed. Go to the podcast website and make sure you are using the right feed. Look for the podcast rss feed. If it doesn't take you to iTunes, copy the feed URL and, from iTunes, go to Advanced -> Subscribe to Podcast, and paste your RSS feed.

@NFXmedia - thanks for the tip. I had always used the Unsubscribe / subscribe method. Now the game is how to automatically remove all those 'Get' listings that you don't want which are intermixed with the 'Got' ones you want to keep.

Not automatic, but just highlight those podcasts, right-click, and choose "delete".

Thanks for the reply; I realise that I can Command click to select non-contiguous files then tap back-space delete to remove them. Given that I can Option-click the podcast list arrow to show all the podcasts that I don't have, to be able to repeat a single Option-click again to hide all the non-downloaded podcasts would be a nice touch.
