I would just like a 32 GB version. I know this isn't an "iPod" feature, but it sort of is. Once this comes out, I would consider getting rid of my 80 GB iPod. I think I can survive with 32 GB of media if it means I only need one device. 64GB would be the best. :-)
Where are the iPhone's iPod improvements?

Better control over scrubbing is essential for video viewing. How many times do I have see the opening credit sequence of Deadwood? I try to scrub to jump over it, move my finger the teensiest amount and blam I'm at 3 minutes blam I'm at 5 minutes blam I'm at 2:32 blam it's like trying to do nanosurgery using a bowling ball.
The wheel on the classic ipod allows for precision scrubbing -- couldn't we have a little virtual wheel pop up?

What I want to see is a fully functioning iTunes on an iPod. For me, I want to be able to manipulate playlists from an iPod. I do most of my listening on my iPod and that is when I am out and about. I have 6000 songs and when I am listening to a song and realize that it would be suitable for, say, my "Reading" playlist, I don't have a good way to remember to put that song into that playlist later. I would like to put it into that playlist right there at that time. Then it would be nice to have the playlist in my desktop updated when the ipod syncs next. It would also be nice to search for a song in a playlist with info other than song title. I have a playlist with 5000 songs (to play my entire collection on shuffle, but without the offensive stuff) and quickly searching that playlist for a particular song by title is pretty much impossible. Deleting a song from my library from the iPod would be great as well. Volume adjustment (per song) from the iPod as well.
As it is, I use the star rating system to mark songs for deleting and volume adjustment, but it is awkward.
