You've only to sign in the Apple Developer Connection, that's for free. Then you can download a Safari 4 Developer Preview.

i don't like to download and use vagabond programs for whom nobody's responsible.....

but i was too curious about safari, so i did download, but a few of my other safari plugins didn't work so i had to switch back. otherwise it was an awesome browser, and it was waaaaaaaaaayyyy faster than safari 3

and yes, i did that way before this thread was even started. i'd recommend safari 4 to everyone who doesn't have important plugins to make work.
