Actually, this seems like quite fortuitous timing for Apple to invest in real estate, possibly short-sale-type prices in urban areas and paying with CASH!
But the real capper is the Apple Stores' shot in the arm for marketing, exposure, accessibility, sales, and distribution of its quite desirable and in-demand line of products.

Ok, this article might have been the most disappointing thing I have read all week. Why is there no unbox pron for this new store? There should not have even been an article til there was pics to go with it. Don't you folks at macworld know your target audience here? We MUST HAVE unbox pron. It's a requirement, not optional.
