I am a total newbie. This time around I thought I'd go all out and try to get into Macs. Now I have a spanking brand new iMac Intel Dual Core, and all I have managed to do with it is email and surf the net. Now I am sure there hundreds more neat things I can do with it, but what ? And How? The PC world is full of all kinds of guides and sites that allows one to do just about anything (?), but when it comes to Macs, I am afraid I am at a loss. There are things I can do with cameras, pictures, CDs, music and just about anything that a PC can do, and more, and better! I have scoured and joined a few help sites, but am always at a loss for information. Where ARE these sites, forums, groups? If you know of any, perhaps you will let me know, so I can really start playing with this wonderful machine. I love the Mac, wish I had migrated years ago!

Thank you.

You might want to go here for some open source software to play with www.opensourcemac.org
