I want to jump into digital and coming from film photography all I know is I want a Leica.

I suggest you look at a real photo equipment site. dpreview.com is the best.
Meanwhile, Leica’s are specialty cameras because they are incredibly expensive, and because rangefinders are less versatile than SLR’s. Even if you have the money to burn, you still would want to begin a new hobby with a versatile tool — get an SLR.

Thanks. I hear you about certain Leica being expensive, it is not my purpose to buy a M8 but a Digilux model, I don't drive a Rolls Royce after all… ;)
