Hi, I use iMovie 6.0.3 and I have made this slideshow movie. Thing is there is all this leftover space at the end that just runs on and I want it to end AT the end. I think it may have something to do with putting a song in and not using it now it runs on long at the end. How do I just cut it where I want to. There has to be a way, right?

When you have your movie going in iMovie, you will notice on the far left when the movie starts that below the progress triangle which points downward, that just below it is a triangle a bit larger that is split down the middle. Well if you drag the right part of the triangle you will notice part of the progress bar turns yellow (selected). Be careful because if you delete while this part of the bar is yellow (selected), what is selected will be deleted but if you choose cut, it will remain in your clipboard.
Now to delete something at the end as you want to do, drag the right section all the way to the end, then drag the left part towards the right but stop at the beginning of the point that you want to delete, then from the Edit menu choose Cut. By choosing Cut rather than Delete you can always Paste back into the movie if you made a mistake.
By the way. iMovie has it's own Trash which can be opened and the clips in there can be dragged back into the movie if you later desire.
