Diablo 2 and Macbook Air

So with all the excitement of Dialbo 3 i decided to break out my old copy of Diablo 2 and play it on my MacBook air. So i have installed it twice and patched it all the way up, and my Air is running 10.5.4 and no matter what I try it wont open, bounces but then closes before anything else...

any ideas?

ya I have diablo 2 and a macbook air and I have the same problem
