I have locked pictures (aliases) on my desktop which I cannot put in trash HELP? Thanx.

Hold down the Option key while trashing them.
If that doesn’t work:
# Select all the items
# "Get Info" (File menu or “Command I”)
# Unlock padlock at lower right of Get Info box
# Under Sharing & Permissions, change your Privilege to "Read & Write"
