Macbook 13" Magsafe (65Watts)

Hi,
I know there have been many discussions about the magsafe but here we go once again. I have my macbook since Dec/Jan and I just love it. Alright there are issues with it heating up like hell but my fans don't go bezerk and don't make any noise.
Now since 2 days, I realize that when I plug in my magsafe, it works perfectly (and I got 100% battery health with 146 battery cycles according to iStat and Coconut Battery) BUT the magsafe doesn't light up.
By this what I mean to say is that normally when it is chargin you have that orange light and when it's fully charged it turns green right? Well no, not anymore for me. It works fine, charges, keeps the macbook charged etc but the light is the issue.
I know it's not the end of the world or anything but has anyone experienced this same problem?

Same thing happened to my MacBook Pro magsafe adapter some time ago. It doesn't affect charging at all. It's purely cosmetic.
