Need advice for software to run on our lobby HD TV (using Mac Mini)

We just picked up an HD monitor for our office lobby (along with a Mac Mini) so we can display news, weather, company info to clients etc. Are there any slick looking, full screen interfaces that will really show off the Mac's capability? It would need to be able to provide real time weather and news, along with other customizable bells and whistles.

Anyone have ideas?
