OK, MobileMe.......

I can accept Apple upgrading .Mac to MobileMe. That's it.

Yes, I believe there is more to MM, than is terribly obvious.
All the push stuff, being able to connect to your iPhone, iPod, Mac's, that great.... but
I don't own an iPhone, iPod, I have Mac's but 1 is 10.4.11, the other is 10.3. Others not OS X.

I've had the account for a while now because it helped me with sending large e-mails.

It was also good for iCards, that was removed in the upgrade. Why?
It was also good for Bookmarks, that was removed in the upgrade. Why?

I also like the @mac e-mail address, not a kindergarden @me address.

Sync:
"Calendars", does sync quickly (green check box),
but if I sync "Contacts" it just continues to run/spin whatever you want to call it but it won't shut off.
I have the sync set to manual, and do them individually but I also have to "Cancel" the sync to stop it from spinning.

The e-mail:
It doesn't stay set when I select "Date", for the order to sort out e-mails. like Apples mail app' does.
It doesn't give me numbers as to how many e-mail's I have, like Apples mail app' does.
When I login, it opens at e-mail, (which I have to set again) and if I want to compose an e-mail the address/Contacts is dull, meaning unable to use. If I open "Calendars", then go back to e-mail, I can compose an e-mail and the Contacts icon is highlighted, meaning it now works. But I also have to reset sorting.

These are just a few little things, there's more, but they're annoying because when you go to the "Account", Apple tells you everything is working. No it's not.
Please don't tell me to contact Apple, I have, as thousands have. Maybe Apple will read Macworld.

Summary:
I was able to use .mac when overseas, now .....
Because of the functions Apple had and I used, they were removed for functions I don't use.

I could go on and on, but .......

When you hit print in your desktop Address Book app' (Version 4.0.6 (490), it opens to multiple choices of how you want to print.

This is very helpful when needing a quick list of say 10 people,
highlight them>hit print>make your printout choices then print. It's very simple, I can use it.

Naturally you'd think the synced Contacts (Address Book) in .mac/MobileMe would be even better considering it's online and if you needed to from any part of the world, could print that same list I printed from my desktop at home. Nope.
You have to print individual cards, or write them out I guess.

Below are the choices from my desktop address book.
also
The choices you have from MobileMe.

Maybe Apple will read Macworld and say "golly gee, we messed up but it'd be real swell to do online what we can do at home, especially since they sync with each other". lol

I can tell you Apple (or someone) is reading the .mac/MobileMe forum, because they just removed my post.

Hopefully, the new guy will take notice of all the problems, and with what the members liked, that was removed.

I still have my problems.
