Hey,

Let's say I wanted to initially partition 10GB for Windows, using Boot Camp. It was used up really fast, and I needed more space for Windows. Can I go back and partition more (or possibly less in a different situation) for Windows? If so, how?

One more thing: I currently have about 37GB left on my Mac. It says I can have a max of 32GB for Windows and at the least, 5GB. If I decrease the amount of space I have, will this change? Is this standard for everybody, even with different amounts of GB?

I'm running Leopard 10.5.4 on a MacBook.

Unfortunately, Apple's Bootcamp Assistant application doesn't support resizing the Windows partition non-destructively. I have read over on MacOSXHints.com that you can juggle the files around a bit and manage to accomplish a resize manually... but the "always backup your data first" disclaimer very definitely applies to this type of procedure.

As for the available size: I'm pretty sure that Apple is calculating that based upon your available space, and trying to ensure that there is a minimum of at least 5 GB available on each partition at the end of the process. I'm basing this assumption on Apple's Boot Camp system requirements documentation, which states that you need at least 10 GB of free space in order to install Windows using Bootcamp.
