I am 58 and retired. I would like to purchase a few games, to play on my Mac. My machine is a PowerMac G5, 1.8 single CPU, 1.25 GBs memory, ATI graphic card(Radeon 256 MB DDR 9800 Pro Mac special edition). I believe this Mac was introduced Oct. 19, 2004.

How about these? Call of duty2, Tiger Woods 2005 for Mac, Quake4 for Mac, Doom3 for Mac, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Rise of Nations Gold edition??

Those are some good ideas. I'll also point out that there are games like The Sims 2, Sim City 4, and some flight sims that will also work. Quake 3 will work too, as well as Halo Mac - the Mac version of Halo 1. If sim games and shooters aren't your style, there are many other varieties of game for the Mac. For example, there are many RTS (Real Time Strategy) games too - such as some of the Civilization and Age of Empires games. I'll also point out that Starcraft will work in Mac OS X - there is a patch on the Blizzard support site allowing you to play it in OS X.

Furthermore, many good games will Run on Mac OS 9 - and will probably work in Classic.

Here's a good site to look at for ideas: www.macgamestore.com

Have fun!
