I for one could do without people pointing out all the typos on this as well as any other website.

I think people do it to sound intelligent, but intelligent people generally don't go around pointing out minutia.

My hometown happens to have a truly excellent newspaper with absolutely wonderful articles daily. Yet, not a day goes by without there being some sort of typo or writing error in it—always small ones, mind you.

The quality of the articles written on this site is phenomenal, as always. Hopefully the quality of our comments can live up to the rest of the content.
