It seems as though everything is going to hard disc. I recently visited an audio dealer who demonstrated a Kaleidascape Digital Media System. I was much impressed, and was wondering if anyone knew of software program for mac that does what that system does. For anyone who has not seen the system at work, try to find one and check it out. It catalogs all music/movies just about any way you can think of. It also cross-references in a multitude of ways. (Ex: It not only showed any musician in the system as a primary artist, but also showed any and all groups in which he/she is/was a back up artist.) Also, compiled complete information (producers, engineers, etc.) as well. Showed complete liner notes as well as additional information (photos, etc.) of each cd. It allowed for burning of information in various formats (FLAC, AIFF, etc.), and desiging play list as desired. Very intuitive sotware. Just wondering if anyone knows of software for mac that is so complete.
