Back on the PPC rant.

If they're going to release the Creature Creator in a PPC compatible form then they should release the full game in a PPC compatible form too.

How much they would lose due to DRM vs how much they would lose due to piracy?

Tough call. I would expect them to leave the DRM and ignore the whinners.

Creature Creator requires an Intel chip, same as the full game. Both Mac games were "Ciderized" by TransGaming.

Well, considering that this is EA, one would expect that. However, Kotaku posted an article regarding how EA stated that they had pulled back on one particular aspect of the DRM back in June: http://kotaku.com/50...-authentication

I've got an email into EA asking them for some more clarification regarding the whole DRM issue, and specifically what SecuRom does and doesn't do on Macs and hope to have a response in time for Friday's iGame Radio show.

Good luck. I wouldn't expect much from EA, but you never know.
