I recently imported all my photos to my new Macbook. I am running Leopard and my previous computer was running Tiger. My problem is that all the photos I imported have the wrong dates. Is there an easy way to do a batch change on the dates? For instance one event of photos, all taken in 2000, is dated 2007. I guess because of the last import date?
Any help would be appreciated....Thanks.

Changing Dates in IPhoto

What version of iPhoto are you running? If the latest - iPhoto 7, you can select the photos, click on Photos on the menubar, and then Adjust Date and Time. Tell it to modify the original files and you will be back in business, at least pretty much. At least the year will be correct, but all photos will then have the same day. If you have many taken on the same day, you could do the date change to smaller batches and put the actual correct date on them.
Whatever else you do, do NOT change the dates in the finder! Doing so will prevent iPhoto from functioning, it will not be able to find your photos! Change the dates (and anything else you want to change about your photos) from within the app itself.
