This isn't really related, but there is no Off-Topic forum.

I was wondering when Macworld and how often they hold expo's in Seattle Washington?

Wow, only 2 months? I thought a Macworld happened like once a month.

So, don't you guys want to come to Seattle or have thoughts? It's Microsoft land you know.

Ah, slight mixup here. Macworld magazine and Macworld Expo are affiliated in a limited way. The magazine doesn't put on the trade show. Rather, it's put on by IDG -- a company that has a number of divisions (one of which handles trade shows and another publishes magazines -- Macworld among them).
All decisions regarding the location of that trade show are up to the division of IDG that handles such matters.

We're not the people who run the show -- that's macworldexpo.com. They license the name from us.
I'd love for there to be some more, smaller shows. Who knows? Maybe that'll happen someday.

Yeah, maybe they could have a show in Tokyo and call it Macworld Tokyo or maybe in Paris? Maybe they could have a developer-conference and call it wwdc or something?

If you want even smaller shows, Apple has them all of the time. They are more local and is thus only covered by local specialized press. ie seldom even makes it to general newspapers. And, there are sometimes even smaller stuff happening that is held by even more local AASP. This was at least the case in Irland, and is the case in Norway.
