Updated HandBrake encodes more than DVDs

I must be very unlucky but practically any commercial DVD I put in to handbrake comes back with main title found but then only the opening credit comes up before the movie ends.
No doubt the encryption. But a massive stumbling block non the less, making handbrake for me totally pointless.

I wish they had a way to auto convert video files with preset settings from a particular folder when they are added. It would surely make getting torrents converted, put into iTunes and synced to AppleTV much easier. But I suppose that isn't really needed now that the new AppleTV hack just came out.

Not that it hasn't already been said...but Handbrake rocks!!
My only real complaint is that it has issues converting to large files. It's really been an issue with two pass encoding with longer running time material. Doesn't seem to be an issue with in single pass mode.

I wonder if this will convert .wmv files into another format. I have a small collection of WMVs that I would like to convert to QT or .avi, etc. I know the non-free versions of Flip4Mac do this, but I've been avoiding buying it just to convert my files. I wouldn't have any use for it on a regular basis.
