I no longer get the "HAPPY MAC" sound when my computer starts up. I checked the drive and repaired permissions so is there anything wrong or going wrong with my Mac.

Is the volume turned down or on mute?

Zap your PRAM on your next start up. This clears out some preferences, like mute, on start up.

When you start up the next time hold down the Apple Option P and R keys. Hold these down until after your hear the "bong" the second time.

Hello dcpics,
I zapped the PRAM and I have a "HAPPY MAC" again. Thanks you very much.
