Hello, I have tried this fix and it doesn't seem to be working for me on my new MacBook Pro. I tried re-installing the software, and even called my IT department to help me out, to no success. When I use Terminal to enter the command, I get this info:

Stopping Cisco Systems VPN Driver
(kernel) Kext com.cisco.nke.ipsec not found for unload request.
Failed to unload com.cisco.nke.ipsec - (libkern/kext) not found.
Starting Cisco Systems VPN Driver
/System/Library/Extensions/CiscoVPN.kext failed to load - (libkern/kext) requested architecture/executable not found; check the system/kernel logs for errors or try kextutil(8).

What does this mean? If someone can help, I would appreciate it greatly!!!

This message comes because you mac is running in 64 bits mode, and CiscoVPN does not work with that.
You can change that by booting with the 3 and 2 buttons pushed. Then you start in 32 bit mode, and the fix: sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/CiscoVPN.kext works beautifully.
