Time will tell if Verizon's decision not to adopt the iPhone will go down as one of the greatest business blunders in history.
On another note, to AT&T, why not invest some of that green in improving the network. I get the same calls dropped in the same spot for the past year on a major New York highway. Isn't there something you could do about the holes in your network? It's the decent thing to do.

When Verizon adopts the iPhone, I'll buy one, but for now I'll pass on AT&T.
