Though I love my macbook that I just bought on Saturday I've got to take it back. Why? Because the one thing I need to do most I can't. And what's that you say. I can't sync my blackberry with my MAC. And before you tell me to search the posts trusts me I have. And both Pocketmac and The Missing Sync just cannot seem to find my blackberry (which BB software is v4.5.8) even though when I plug my BB in, the mac shows on my desktop as NONAME. Seems there is a "Error communicating with device. USBInterfaceOpen failed (e00002c5)" and no one can solve this. I would stay with Mac but my contacts change almost daily and I MUST be able to sync.

Alas this is the one ceveat to MACs, that as good as they are, no one is supporting them in a timely matter (or at least on my time lol).

I've got a couple of more days to explore this mac before I must take it to the apple store. Damn, I've got to deal with Bill Gates' ass again YUCK. Goodbye cold cold cruel world

Did you contact Mark/Space about Missing Sync? They are pretty responsive to solving problems with Missing Sync.

I know you said you tried PocketMac, but is it this version?

I know of two different people, one on 10.4.11 the other on 10.5.5, and they do not seem to have any problems with their BBs using the above software.

An off the wall suggestion, have you tried anything else in the same USB port? Maybe it is defective.
