When I import photos into iPhoto, I usually give them titles and assign keywords to them. Otherwise, my collection of pictures becomes a giant mess.

My wife wants me to pass a subset of these pictures on to her, so that she can put them into her iPhoto. How can I best accomplish this while getting the image titles and keyword across to her, as well?

In earlier versions of iPhoto I would export the images to a CD-ROM. Then, when they were imported into the other instance of iPhoto, they would still have the same titles and keywords. However, I would like to avoid this hassle of burning a CD-ROM first and simply copy a selection of files over the network.

How about exporting them to a folder on your desktop and then have her import from there.

That will only retain the image titles, not the keywords. -- Dominik
