HD problem

i got this msg when i did my routine check up of my HD by disk utility current config 160gb hd osx 10.4.11 imac g5
Verifying volume “Macintosh HD”
Checking HFS Plus volume.
Checking Extents Overflow file.
Checking Catalog file.
Checking multi-linked files.
Checking Catalog hierarchy.
Checking Extended Attributes file.
Checking volume bitmap.
Checking volume information.
Volume Header needs minor repair
The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.
Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit

1 HFS volume checked
Volume needs repair
Please help me with this

-Hi,

Your Volume Header probably can be fixed by booting from your install disk-->from the menu launch Disk Utility-->select your volume and Repair Disk. If that doesn't repair it than you have other problems. Some folks say this may be caused by not shutting down the Mac properly or power outages. Which is hard on the HD by not having it spin down properly.
