I recently upgraded my Adobe Design Suite CS3 to the Master Suite CS4. Everything works except Adobe Premiere and Adobe's Premiere Specialist spent considerable time ruling out the known problems without success. He had me create a new account and then Premiere stopped crashing on launch, after doing a safe boot. So he say's "it's an extension conflict so you'll have to wait for Apple to fix it."
I really needed to use Premiere and decided to do a "safe boot" first and my computer suddenly decided no "administration" password would work. I nearly panicked. I tried to reboot but it kept going into safe boot mode, with the same outcome. So then I tried to reboot off my Leopard disk and again, it would return to safe boot mode with no recognizable password and wouldn't recognize the install disk.
Finally, I unplugged the computer and waited a few minutes, plugged it in and restarted the computer and got past the safe boot mode, that is anything but safe. I'm desperate for any advice.
I did update my system software, hoping they'd come out with a bug fix, but they haven't.
I'm on an iMac, 4 GB of Ram 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo running Mac OS 10.5.6
