Hi - there is an earlier post on this topic -- but I wondered if anyone knows for sure if the "Hammacher Schlemmer Slide And Negative To Digital Picture Converter" actually works with a MAC? Their description shows PC only. I have a lot of old style cut film negatives I'd like to convert for my parents and the Hammacher Schlemmer product seems the easy route w/out going to a professional shop. Or does anyone know of a product like this one that works with a MAC? Thanks in advance for any direction.

Just about any descent scanner will do what you are talking about. Not only do they scan pictures but have attachments for slides and negatives....... and probably for less than that item you mentioned.
