I have a camera (panasonic Lumix) that writes out a .mov format HD video file. When I try to play this in QuickTime it shows a flickering pink screen. The "time line bar" does show that the video is playing. I have uninstalled QuickTime and installed latest version. Still no luck.
I can play this with out any problems in VLC video player. And it looks beautiful.
In QuickTime, if I select Movie Inspector, it says, the file is
Format: "Photo - JPEG, 1280 x 720, Millions. 16 Bit Integer (Big Endian), Mono, 16.000 KHz.
Movie FPS: 30.00
Playing FPS: 30.00
Data Rate: 22.55mbits/sec
Normal Size: 1280x720 Pixels.
So, what could be the problem. If you are interested, I can email a click of the video.
Thanks
