I have been using comcast.net email for years as that is the only game in my area for wireless. Things have been working well enough until the last few weeks (just before the comcast price increase went into effect) and today things went to you know where in a handbasket. I am able to load the comcast home page and log into email, but then it gets interesting.
When I enter "login" on sign in the normal sequence of addresses in the address line start running through as per normal, but do not stop on the email url, they just keep running, over and over and over! I called comcast this a.m. and they told me something wasn't working quite right, then I contacted them through the website and they suggested using Firefox, which does indeed work fine, but is totally inconvenient as all my bookmarks are in Safari and I don't want to have to jump back and forth. They also suggested it's a Safari problem, but I think not as I have never had this happen in all my years of using Safari (4+).
Has anyone else had this problem today OR EVER? Suggestions? I'm on a MacBookPro with Leopard if it matters. Thanks!

Just as I suspected, it seems to have been a Comcast problem, despite their denials. Oh, for a decent alternative!
