Does anyone have experience using NeatWorks with a ScanSnap 500M? I see it's not in the list of supported scanners, but wonder if it would work anyway as I'm using the current version of ScanSnap manager software. Thanks.

NeatWorks is at version 3.5 now and they had many years to fix the bugs yet it's still practically unusable. I made a short video review, hope somebody finds it useful:

I've recently purchased Scansnap S1300. Finding the scanner to be very dependable but lacking in needed software, I started looking at several titles. I am currently using Mariner's Paperless. It's almost what I wanted, but not quite. Neatworks seems to do what I need, but with all the questionable reviews I'm hesitant to purchase it and then not have it function correctly. Unfortunately, they don't offer a trial period - if they did and it worked I would buy it without question. Sorry Neatworks, but if you had any confidence in your product perhaps you would offer a trial evaluation period
