Sometime ago I purchases a piece of software called Tune Tools 2.0 put out by ValuSoft a division of THQ Inc. out of Minnesota. On the front of the box it very clearly states"NEW! Works with iPhone & iPod Touch! Easily transfer of movies, picture and music onto your iPhone and iPod Touch." On the back of the box under System Requirements, it also states "Works with all iPods (As of production date.)"

I installed the product and could not get it to work with my iPod Touch. I went into the Help file and it states that with using a Windows PC, you need to identify the iPod as an identifiable disk drive. When I couldn't get this to work, I submitted a problem report through the Support features on the ValuSoft.COM website. Got no response at all. I talked to several people at different Apple stores about setting up the iPod Touch as a disk drive within the Windows, My Computer folder and I was told consistently that the iPod Touch does not work that way. I then looked up the phone number for ValuSoft in Minnesota and called. Recorded messages everywhere so I left a voicemail message on their support line. Again, no response. I did get an email back stating that they would refund my purchase price and gave me a link to fill in the forms. Since I had purchaed the product from a retailer who was closing and the software was on sale for about $16 (Cdn.), I didn't think the refund was necessary but I did respond and asked for someone to let me know how to get this software to work with the iPod Touch. Again, no response.

This pas week, I again phone the company and insisted that I talk to a human being and after several attempts, we finally found someone to talk to. All this person would tell me was that they were able to make it work with an iPod Touch but couldn't explain it to me. I have now removed this software from my computer and will gladly spread the word that ValuSoft is not a company I would ever recommend dealing with since they do not stand behind their product with sound technical support.

If anyone has been able to get this software to work with an iPod Touch, please let me know. Thanks.
