Hello,
I have a message from what seems to be a reliable source (Sony UK) but it won't delete.
It's in the Deleted Items folder, but when I highlight it and press delete I get an error message "Unknown error 4362"
The background in the folder window is also greyed.
I've highlighted and deleted the content of the mail but the message remains.
I've tried going through the list of messages via sherlock but can't identify the message although I did drag some others into the trash ok.
Help please.

-Hi,

I haven't used Entourage-Mac for many moons. Might try placing the ornery mail into a different folder and then hit Delete. Just guessing, but if you tagged it Junk....maybe that would allow the Delete. Yeah, a long shot, but just try different scenarios.

Some member that uses Entourage might just dance along on this one...If you don't get a response in a couple days: Just reply and type in BUMP. That'll bring it back to the top to be viewed again. Good luck..

To help you solve problems, Entourage
keeps a detailed log of errors, such as problems connecting to your
e-mail server, processing mail or rules, or decoding file attachments.

Errors
are stored in the error log until you quit Entourage. Each time an
error occurs, a description of the error appears in the log. The
description identifies the error and provides a brief explanation. It
can also contain suggestions for fixing the problem. In some cases, you
can click a button that takes you directly to the source of the problem
so that you can fix it.
# On the Window menu, click Error Log. If the error log is unavailable, no errors have occurred since you opened Entourage.
# To open the error you want to view, double-click the error description.
Tip To delete an error description, click it, and then click Delete.
