I was having a problem with my new MacBook Pro that I never had with my old iBook or my iMac. When I tried to copy the object embed code for a YouTube clip and paste it anywhere it didn't work.

I discovered that if I went to "View Source", typed Apple F and entered "object" to easily find the code, I could simple copy it from the source and it would paste where I wanted to put it.

I can use it on a website where I write a column by just switching the text to html.

I don't know why this happens but it works and doesn't take much longer than the old way of highlighting the embed copy, copying and pasting it. Does anybody know why this happens.
