current 13" macbook with current OS. ( less than month old )

located about 100 miles from me so my new to mac friend called me.

problem is after about 15-20 minutes of internet use the browser can no longer access internet and says it's D/C'd.

airport says otherwise.

the PC's on the network have zero probs staying connected for any length of time.

any good ideas where to talk them thru looking in the Macbook settings for this feature?

Did you ever solve your problem...my new macbook is doing the exact same thing...disconnects every 15 minutes yet airport says otherwise. I have to turn off the airport then turn it back on to reconnect. PC laptops in the house are not having this problem.
