Here's a question.
When I send an e-mail, I try to format so that the margins are
equal, but often it ends up at the receiving end, looking like a
mess, with all different margin widths, such as this:
Hi there,
We had a great weekend skiing. Hope the snow
stays around a bit
longer. How
was your weekend?
How can send e-mails with nice neat margins?
Thanks,

Email format

It will probably be tough to do on a consistant basis. Different email clients had message formatting differently. And this tends to wreck havoc on line spacing/formatting when sending to other people. If you send to someone who uses the same email client, then it should be fine. But, if they use a different email client, then all bets are off.
The only two ways that I think to do it would be to either a) get your hands on EVERY possible email client (which would require you to have multiple versions of Windoze and Mac OS) and experiment with different formatting options to see which one would work the best with as many possible email clients as possible...and even then you would not likely get it to work with them all...not to mention, that would be a LOT of work or b) imbed the text using some "attachment" format such as a image or PDF that has the formatting that you want...but this then requires your receiver to download the attachment and have an appropriate program to read the attachment...and it is more work for you as well.
