I have noticed this issue in Firefox on my Wintel PC at work (VIsta). Usually it occurs in long threads like this and I have to refresh the page to see the text of posts. No such issue in Firefox on my Mac.

I use Safari 4 Beta, but it also happened under Safari 3. It's usually my own posts that I see as blank and I can usually fix it by clicking "edit" and adding something (I usually just add a space somewhere) to the existing text. This time, however, there was no existing text, I don't know if anyone else saw a blank post, but to me it was as if I'd posted absolutely nothing. Weird.

I have bought the new mac pro because in my opinion it is the best machine to run osx, now if that changed my next machine would be a pystar simple as.

You can buy the best machine for OS X or you can buy a Psystar machine and never tell the difference for $1200 less. Beyond that, there are other options like using the EFI-X USB boot with the ability to update the firmware so that you will always be compatible with whatever Apple throws out there for an OS.

I'm personally kicking myself for buying the Mac Pro 8-Core, when the Psystar Open Pro will do the job just as well for my needs. There is also the i7 Core coming on line that will be running OS X in the near future. There are certainly more and more options being made available every day instead of just paying more and buying an Apple product to run OS X. You can even install OS X on a NetBook and that will give you a very portable version of OS X that's not offered by Apple.

For me, I could tell the difference.
But YMMV. It may run MacOS but it is not a Mac.
If you look at the build config you need a PCIe add in card to do FW800.
That's an issue for me. The graphics cards also don't support two Dual DVI ports.
That is also an issue for me.

You can run as many monitors as you want on a PC, just like a Mac. Mac doesn't own a special patent for being the only computer to be able to do that. FW 800 cards are cheap and because these machines offer more PCI and PCIe slots than a Mac does, you can easily install FW800 - 400 - SATAe - or whatever. These machine are more than enough for people that want to run OS X.

As far as the quality of my information to this forum goes; it seems to be paying off.
