Wow. There's an "Ascetic" class in the new Diablo? Does that mean you can't pick up any treasure or wear fancy armor?
I think "aesthetic" was the word the author meant to use.

It looks like Bill Roper is looking around for a little cheese to go with his whine. I am looking forward to the new look. I always thought that Diablo was too dark visually.

I rather liked the dark gritty foreboding style of D1. D2 remained true to the art style, but lost some of the 'sit bolt upright in your chair' frightening element. I was never scared in D2 like I was in D1. Now with the art style that of WoW I don't see myself ever being scared again in a newer Diablo game :-
