Empty your Inbox

I actually prefer my inbox to have most of my emails, just seems to make me work more efficiently. I'd say for many people its a personal preference, While I do offload emails to different folders either because they're old or because I want to make sure I retain purchase/serial number information. The majority of my emails sit in my inbox and that seems to work for me.

I have found that creating separate mail boxes, one for registrations and serial numbers, and one for other vendor correspondence for order confirmations, receipts, tracking info and such a very useful way to keep my inbox clear.
I also have "Smart mail boxes" for family, friends and specific individuals.
Keeping everything in the inbox is tempting and easy, but can create a confusing mess.

I would go with keeping them in separate boxes especially if they are important such as invoices or orders. General mails stays put in the inbox.
