Deleting Applications on Mac OS X

Can anyone tell me how to delete Dashboard Applications??

1.) Click on Dashbord Icon.
2.) Click on + icon at the lower left corner of the desktop
3.) Click on x icon at the upper left corner of the selected application.

FYI: a Dashboard app is called a "Widget".

Gresh's method is how to disable a widget.

Here's the method on how to uninstall widgets (i.e. send them to the trash).

1) Click on the Dashboard icon.
2) Click on the "+" icon on the bottom left.
3) Drag the widget called "Widgets" to the dashboard.
4) Find the offending widget in the list and click on the red "-" icon beside it. You should get an option to send the widget to the trash. Choose "OK" and the offending widget should show up in the Trash ready to be deleted.

Note: The stock Apple widgets cannot be uninstalled. They can only be disabled.
