Because it is filed under Games. Computer users like playing games, no matter what platform they are on.

I'm hugely disappointed with the Wii so far. Seems like Nintendo's putting very little effort into their successful game franchises. Plus, either gaming has passed me by, or the selection of third-party games is crap, too. Probably a little of both.
PS. This relates to the Mac in that gaming on the Mac sucks so hard that most of us own consoles too.

Because it relates to the electronics and entertainment industries, which relates to Apple, which relates to Mac's.

Nintendo and Apple are cousins.

True. This wasn't always the case though. 10 years ago, I was buying 10 - 12 games a year for the Mac. Now, maybe I buy 1 or 2. It's not that I've lost interest though, it's that far fewer titles are released and most are either crap in quality or of an genre that I'm just not interested in. The irony here is that Mac unit sales and Mac market share is significantly higher now than it was years ago.

Same here, except it was on a PC. PC gaming nosedived around 2002 as well.
