The page isn't totally hosed anymore... but there are certainly some serious issues. I went to the page and used the "Alternative Entry Form" to enter the contest without buying anything, and after no more then four entries, it came back and said "You have entered to many times today" (sic).
No punctuation, the wrong "to" used in the sentence, and even worse: The page states just above that line that you can enter up to 25 times per day! If Apple doesn't get this entry form fixed pronto, they might well be setting themselves up for a false advertising lawsuit...

The sweepstakes isn't a random drawing. According to the official rules, the prize is given to the person who downloads the billionth app, so the people that download 25 apps a day have no greater chance of winning than people who start downloading apps right before the count reaches 1 billion. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if someone who is completely oblivious to this contest happens to cave in and buy the iFart app just for kicks and then finds out 3 days later that he/she won $13,000 worth of Apple merchandise.

Where does it say that it's the person who downloads the billionth app? It says that the winner will be chosen after the download of the billionth app, but its not going to be the person who downloads it.. Also, I've checked other sites that talk about the contest, and they say that the winners (with an S) will be listed on apple's site...(but on apple's site, they just keep saying winner) so does this mean there is more than one winner? If that's what it means, then it cant be the billionth..
