I use Safari as my browser. On some sites with wmv material, the audio plays, but not the video. These same sites work fine in Firefox.

(Here is an example of a lecture by Garrison Keillor: http://video1.cathed...v/gk080929.wmv)

Is this a known problem with this beta of Safari? or are there settings in one or another of the following apps or system prefs that would make this work correctly in Safari?

I'm running Safari v4 (beta) on OSX 10.5.6 on a MacBook Pro; QuickTime Pro 7.6, Flip4Mac 2.2.1.11, Perian 1.1.3.

Thank you.

There have been numerous problems with Safari Beta, including sites that don't work with it. Almost everyone I know who is more than just a casual user has dumped Beta and gone back to 3.2.1. Incidentally, I went to the site you included and it worked fine with 3.2.1. My advice is to uninstall Beta and go back to the previous Safari version until the bugs are worked out and the new version is released.
