iPhone Apps for the iMac?

I am currently un-eligible to get an iPhone. Yet, I see all of the fantastic apps available for the iPhone and am wondering if any would work on an iMac. Does anyone know if they do?

No, Apps only work on an iPhone or iPod touch.
