I have an opportunity to buy an eMac with a bad CRT. Would it work to replace the CRT in the eMac with one from an old monitor that I have laying around? I am aware of the risks of dealing with CRTs, but I think I can handle it.

IMO...I wouldn't purchase an eMac with a bad display. But if you want the challenge...go for it. The eMac should be FREE. B-)
