Making Applications Grid Larger

I have my applications folder located on the far right of my dock and when opened it opens in the grid view which is my method of choice. I would like to be able to add more applications and not resort to clicking on "Open in Finder" to see the overflow. I have plenty of room and I would like to change the size of the grid. Is there a hack or trick to doing this?
