Any application available to modify the 'Announce the time' interval?

In System Preferences, for the Date & Time, I have the 'Announce the time' feature set to the 'On the quarter hour'. It works fine, but I could use a shorter time interval.
Is there an application out there somewhere that will allow me to have the time announced at 5 minute intervals?
